I'm at a loss as to what the cause of this issue is.  Since I upgraded this machine from Windows XP to Windows 7 it has been freezing up at random times without warning, forcing a manual shut-down through the power button, and does not display an error message.
Only once, it locked up with a blue screen of death that reported: A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval and provided technical information that I cannot decipher: ***STOP: (0x000000000000032, 0x000000000000000,
0xFFFFF88002FD3180, 0x0000000000000003)

I have no idea if the the blue screen is related to the freezing.  The machine was working fine prior to the OS upgrade, so it's unlikely that any of the hardware is broken.  I installed the latest drivers for the video card and that did not help.

If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
